This is one of my retreats as mentioned in the earlier blog entry. This was taken in late spring last year.
I love my porch and the relaxing moments our family has shared on it. We have spent many evening watching the lightening shine through the dark night sky... listening to the rolling thunder boom overhead and feeling it shake the ground... listening to the rain fall on our steel roof and feeling a mist upon our faces... my porch is a haven of rest for me.
